Utilization of Greenspace May Create Surprising Opportunity

Communities have gotten to become rather impersonal lately .In some instances neighborhoods have become environmentally unfriendly and ergonomically unsound for a daily commuters life. How can a day that begins at 5 a.m. for the 60 minute drive to and fro be catered to someone who wants to exercise, spend time with their family or even have the motivation to learn about nutrition to prevent heart disease? Enter the idea of neighborhood greenspace added on to the biospehere concept.

Greenspaces can become more than just mere parks for walking , but can promote several activities such as jogging, bicycling, rock climbing, rowing, kayaking, canoing, and other aquatic activies for the entire family.

These can therefore serve neighborhoods with the opportunity to participate with family members, neighbors and friends as you burn calories and promote fitness while have some connection to the green environment.

In Atlanta, the botanical garden has not only become a place of growing various domestic, exotic vegetation, and herbals; they also teach courses and give lectures on how to cultivate your own garden as well as about the nutritional value of plants for their patrons. This is a good way to inform and educate the public about healthier alternatives to fast foods for your own garden and even to prevent obesity.

These areas might become places for basic home horticulture, agriculture and fishing as a leisure and study of healthier food sources. In these settings we can learn to enjoy our planet, we also learn how to live with it better in a more harmonious way.

Greenspace would have to become protected environments that don't allow high carbon emissions or littering. They could be a means for very skilled builders and designers to make neigborhoods that accomodate the green space use. Attention to architects, contractors, lawn, park, lake, agricultuural, nutritional, ergonomic, and occupational and fishery experts who can create interactive greenspace could be lighted by solar powered energy for safety. This provides an opportunity for a new skilled labor force and one oriented towards a healthier environment, lifestyle and geared towards prevention.

Is it possible to create greenspaces that are protected environments much like a biosphere encapsulated in a pressurized atmospheric space? Possibly, if our air quality is not managed better. Long term residenets in biospheres have already been done successfully. If neighborhoods become linked to places of work to reduce commutes we may see these designs are both esthetically and ergonomically sound. But, until that time this creates opportunity to give us all the chance to promote more activity without having to drive further to a fitness club which can be hectic after a long commute. Fitness clubs are great places to burn calories, but green space provides the entire family to simultaneously participate together in fresh air together amongst pleaseing streams and roving hills.Greenspace may become centers of learning about planting healthy organic fruits and vegetables and learn about micro-nutrients such as the vitamins and antioxidants that contain.

Having accessible greenspace in most neigborhoods might be more cost effective than fitness centers and encourage more activity to burn calories, learn nutrition and place a prevention plan for every family.Greenspace has an emotionally calming effect as well than noisy sometimes overly competitive fitness clubs. This can be stressful .The purpose of a greenspace is not to compete with anyone there, but to reconnect to your family, neighborhood, your health and environment.
